This four acre pool is set within a 3,500 acre country estate. Being hand dug in 1770-80s it has flourished ever since with trees surrounding the whole perimeter. Add a small overgrown island at one end, a 200 year old boat house in the middle and lilly pads at the other end, you soon feel in a special place.

We have opened 4 fishing swims with one at the west end over looking the island, another swim in the middle section looking towards the boat house, the 3rd swim at the east end opposite the lilly pads with the 4th swim at the back of the isalnd..

Depth wise you have 2-4' in the margins leading out under the low branches to 4-5' with 5-7' cross the open water. Some of the margins are very silty with clearer firm areas across the open water with Canadian pond weed here and there.

As the lake hasn't been fished before, we really do not have a clue how big the fish go, but thats the mystery. We have seen long wildie commons sitting under the branches that have never been hooked before.

Also we have stocked quality 'Dinton' strain Carp to improve the fishery going forward. This really is a water to try your angling skills on. Whether that be float, stalking or surface fishing etc.

BOTH THESE POOLS ARE NO PUBLICITY WATERS. THAT INCLUDES FACEBOOK, TWITTER, INTERNET FORUMS AND PUBLICATIONS.
