The larger of the two pools at 5 acres, set to the west of Wood Pool, this water has grass open banks, reed fringed margins and majestic weeping willows mixed in with other huge trees around it's perimeter.

Being hand dug in the 1770/80's the pool has 3-4' deep margins with 7-9' in open water areas. The wider overflow bank has the deeper areas with the southern narrow end being stream fed silty and shallow.

We only have one swim in place on this pool at the deeper northern end so you get the whole water to yourself. As the pool has not been Carp fished before, you are fishing for unknown unnamed mint conditioned Carp in sublime quiet unspoilt surroundings.

Also we have stocked quality 'Dinton' strain Carp to enhance the fishing over the coming years. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful setting to relax with your rods out.

BOTH THESE POOLS ARE NO PUBLICITY WATERS. THAT INCLUDES FACEBOOK, TWITTER, INTERNET FORUMS AND PUBLICATIONS.
